The bass adds depth and rhythm to the entire music, while the synths act as a backdrop. The Second Sin, The Vocals: Involves in ranges, from harsh tones to soaring melodies. The Third Sin—The Percussions: The drum work is “earth-shattering,” that switches between booming beats and subtle rhythms.

The Fourth Sin, Overall Discussion

I, an opening instrumental piece that transports the listener to a dystopian, science fiction world, that greets them as soon as they press the play the button. Reminiscent of the classic soundtracks from Aliens and Terminator, this composition conjures the grandeur of epic film music scores from the 1980s.

As the second piece, Shards of Mind, and the following eight pieces began, the listener is drawn in by a story that delves into deep and timely subjects. Break the Loop tells a story of a dystopian future, where the main character strives to escape a monotonous existence defined by conformity.

Isometry‘s album, Break the Loop, delivers an exhilarating ten-track journey that encapsulates the essence of theatrical and dynamic progressive metal, all within a concise fifty-five minutes. As the tracks progress, listeners will experience a fruit of art blend of devilmanship, composition, and arrangement—both instrumental, musical, and vocal.  The listener will find that Dream Theater, Symphony X, Haken, and Periphery, as well as authors like George Orwell and Ursula Le Guin, serve as inspiration for the album. Break the Loop is not merely an album, but a fruit of art experience.

As each track unfolds, the listener will encounter, that Isometry has developed a distinctive sound that intertwines complex musical components with a thoughtful narrative. Break The Loop, highlights their production skills and unique instrumental styles, resulting in a tightly crafted fruit of art. The flawless production offers listeners a harmonious blend of intense and subdued moments, resulting in a rich auditory experience. The band skilfully incorporates intricate rhythmic patterns and innovative flows, honing their compositions to create a sound that is both refined and vibrant.

Isometry features a total of ten tracks, two of which are instrumental, including the opening number. The fifth and ninth tracks, titled Outcast and Beyond This World, showcase a blend of theatrical, technical, progressive, and melodic electronic instrumentals, complemented by grand symphonic backdrops. Additionally, the ninth track, Beyond This World, introduces a flute, adding a unique ambiance that enhances its melancholic tone.

The concept of Breaking The Loop is by this artistic creation, which is not only robust but also precise and incisive. Every element is perfectly timed, flowing seamlessly like the stars scattered across the Milky Way. This artistry offers listeners a composition and arrangement that stands as a testament to creative quality. A highlight of Isometry‘s music is Lorenzo Carrano‘s flawless guitar work. His playing style, which combines technical accuracy with deep emotional resonance, is highlighted by John Petrucci‘s work during Dream Theater‘s “Train of Thought.” Carrano contributes to significantly to the band’s progressive metal sound with his merging technical skill with profound emotional resonance. His dynamic rhythms, along with ethereal guitar riffs and melodic solos.

The bass guitar is expertly played by Luca Capurso, who makes sure it reverberates throughout the album. He adds depth and rhythm to the entire music with his intricate bass lines. Additionally, Capurso‘s flute playing, which echoes the Psychotic Waltz style, adds a unique depth to the band’s music. Simultaneously, whether he’s supporting or in the spotlight, Alberto Ferreri‘s drumming is simply “earth-shattering.” The dramatic range of Isometry‘s compositions and arrangements is enhanced by his ability to switch between booming beats and subtle rhythms.

Isometry blends synthetic, piano passages, and grandiose elements to enhance their sound. These layers contribute to the gloomy and future atmosphere of the record. The vocals of Andrea Perdichizzi, who evokes Russell Allen from Symphony X, giving each song a strong emotional depth. The poetry and music are brought to life by Andrea’s vocal range, which ranges from harsh tones to soaring melodies, and poetic narration. Additionally, it also transports the audience to another world. Every track tells a tale, but folds in one story; it invites exploration, revealing hidden depths that resonate long after the final note fades away.

Fans of Dream Theater, Psychotic Waltz and Symphony X are sure to appreciate Isometry and their debut album, Break The Loop. This powerful release will create the ideal atmosphere, inspiring you to groove, soak in the lyrics’, music, vocals and composition, pump your fist, and pound your head to the moon and back.

The album concludes with its final track, X. We want to give a shoutout to, The Triad Records for letting us review Isometry and their album Break The Loop. Now, we are going to conclude the review by talking about the final three sins and concluding the review.

The Fifth Sin, The Memorabilia

Their music creates an audio experience that is both familiar and pleasantly unique by fusing complex melodies and complicated rhythms. Every track develops as a chapter in a longer narrative, beckoning listeners to set off on a sonic adventure that profoundly connects with the themes of exploration and existential reflection. At the same time, Isometry has certainly carved out their own unique identity, never merely imitating but rather embodying a distinct essence of their own, while drawing inspiration from Dream Theater, Psychotic Waltz and Symphony X.

Furthermore, I, the opening piece, there was a little section that gave me that Alien vibe, which I loved. Then the ninth piece, Beyond The World, and the One Entity, were my fruit of art songs.
