Social Murder‘s album, Slasher, delivers a relentless onslaught of seven fierce and aggressive tracks, all packed into a concise runtime of under nineteen minutes. The band creates a powerful soundscape full of raw energy, brutality, and heaviness by skilfully fusing elements of classic death metal with modern influences. Their music offers a scathing critique of societal structures and the dehumanising effects of contemporary life, ranging from social and political commentary to more personal, dark subjects.

Simultaneously, the listener will find that Slasher provides the listener with a brutal and heavy album that is straightforward. Slasher is delivered in a devilmanship that sharp, tight, and modern, but also underground, with a solid and forbidden fruit of art composition and arrangement. The mix tends to favour clarity in the drums and vocals while allowing the guitars to sit a little more in the background, creating a sense of overwhelming heaviness.
