The First Three Sins of Riders Of Steel
Let’s start by discussing the first three sins of Arida Vortex and their Riders Of Steel album.
The First Sin, The Strings/Keys: Features speed-driven and fuel-pumping tight duel harmonization that contains power chords & fret-board virtuoso & fret-board solos, with ravage pickings of the bass. The Second Sin, The Vocals: Involves powerful screaming/clean vocals, rough around the edges. The Third Sin—The Percussions: This delves into the vast world of pounding and thundering drum patterns and beats.
The Fourth Sin: Overall Discussion: A journey through nine powerful and anthem nut-cracking crusader metal
As soon as the play button is pressed, one is welcome to the intro track GUESTS FROM MY NIGHTMARE, which welcomes the listener to an atmospheric medieval nightmare intro.
Following suit with Small Toy Soldier is the first song following the introduction – which captures the -esque sound of classic European power metal music and bands such as; Helloween, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, and Demons & Wizards while adding some traits of traditional heavy metal, speed metal and epic metal within the music. This continues until the end of track four and from the start of track six, until the end of track eight.
Breaking off the heaviness with track five, Run To Nowhere, welcomes the listener to a more neoclassical/symphonic metal power metal sound, which features a duet of Evgeny Epishin and a female guest.
Is that for us, Riders Of Steel is a well-executed release that gives the listener a powerful adrenaline rush of outstanding classic power metal that is filled with everything you could ask for in an album. Each track has deliverance of various compositions of individually unique and creative flashy guitar virtuoso playing style/solos, thundering drumming, and outstanding vocal arrangements, delivered by fruit of art devilmanship (additional) sound-fix. Plenty of melodies, a hint of neoclassical influences, and keyboard/piano inserts.
Rounding off with tracks six, seven, and eight, which return to the speed-driven power metal sound utilizes (including tracks two, three, and four (adding the above influences and elements)) this overwhelming anthem/epic power metal — a captivating sound of their own/songs don’t sound the same.
The album comes to an end with the last song, To Be By Your Side. Breaks off the power metal into this acoustic ballad, a duet of Evgeny Epishin and a female guest (which also features on track five) outro.
