The Fourth Sin: Overall Discussion: A journey through the darkest corners of the human psych.

Upon pressing the play button, the listener is immediately greeted by the opening track titled Executioner Star. The song’s raw, intense, aggressive instrumental and vocal performance exudes a dark, black metal vibe that immediately grabs the listener’s attention and immerses them in the band’s music -cold, grim, heavy, and dark music, like the emptiness of outer space.

The album’s second track, Vengeance Becomes Me, spans six minutes and is divided into three distinct sections. The first and last sections of the song feature the quintessential elements of the cold and dark black metal musical spectrum, with intense instrumentation and growling vocals. However, the middle section sets this track apart, where the tempo slows down, and the music becomes even colder, creating an eerie and unsettling atmosphere. The instrumentation in this part of the song hits a mid-pace, accompanied by a haunting narration that adds to the sense of dread.

The musical work presented here is a genuine fruit of art, showcasing exceptional production quality and a remarkable display of devilmanship by the musicians. The intricate songwriting skills of the artists are evident in every note and lyric, and the level of attention to detail is astounding.

The devilmanship demonstrated throughout the piece is nothing short of impressive, showcasing the exceptional talents and abilities of the musicians. The guitar work is notable for its skillful use of tremolo picking with complex and lightning-fast riffage (at the same, I’m familiar with Josh’s guitar work, from his solo project “STARER” (feature here) and being the co-owner of “Snow Wolf Records,”). The drumming is equally impressive, featuring thunderous blast beats that accentuate the overall intensity of the music. At the same time, the vocals are equally remarkable, with cold screams that perfectly complement the instrumental elements and add depth to the overall sound.

Vengeance Becomes Me is a well-crafted and multi-layered track that showcases the band’s ability to create a unique sound that combines traditional black metal elements with experimental elements.

The album comes to an end with the last song, Jesus Christ Pose, which is a Soundgarden cover. However, I cannot confidently say whether it amassed better than the original, due to my lack of familiarity with Soundgarden‘s music and personal taste. While I acknowledge that Jesus Christ Pose is a well-performed song by Bihargam, my subjective preferences make it difficult to compare the two versions fairly.

We want to give a shoutout to Snow Wolf for letting us review Bihargam and their Executioner Star album. Now, we’re going to wrap it up by talking about the final three sins and concluding the review.

The Last Three Sins

The Fifth Sin, The Memorabilia: Is that for us, Bihargam, is so cold and dark it resembles the vast emptiness of outer space. Its surface is as black as the void, glistening with an icy sheen that sends shivers down your spine to evoke a sense of awe.

The Sixth Sin, The Artwork:

Epic and dark. Looks like a fallen star.

The Seventh Sin, Disrelish:

Nothing to disrelish within the musical spectrum of Bihargam, and their album Executioner.

This concludes the Bihargam, Executioner review.
