Charon Kruk – Trepidation Review opens and discusses the FIRST SIN: THE STRINGS/KEYS. Consisting of dark primitive and dissonance riffage.

Let’s talk about the SECOND SIN: THE VOCALS, which involves raw demonic and unholy vocals.

Moving on to the THIRD SIN: THE PERCUSSIONS, which delves into the vast world of hell-fire drum fills and beats (ritualist/incantation beats).

FIn our following discussion about the band’s musical work, we will focus on the FOURTH SIN, the overall DISCUSSION of the album. Immediately the listener presses the play button, where one is welcomed to the opening piece, FATUO, which welcomes the listener with a dark introductory soundscape of ritualistic chants and chimes.

As one continues with the last remaining pieces, WHEN THE WORLD TREMBLES IN FEAR and ECHOES OF TRANSCENDENCE, -this black experimental death metal comes with an overall warning of not playing this dark message of death (your most dreadful nightmare) art with the lights off nor alone.

As I’m listening to the music, inking the review—simultaneously being possessed by the dark and evil soundscape/atmosphere and music, there are moments of this psychopomp/trepidation fruit, where the experimentation comes into play with the sound, atmosphere, instrumental, and vocal work/artistry that genuinely captures the theme of the lyrics (a lyrical theme inked about “Terror”, “Horror”, and “Pagan-Occult”) and a musical spectrum.

At the same time, the composing of music and instrumental/vocal artistry—which is all carved and crafted by this fruit of art devilmanship, which consists of primitive/dissonance riffage, hell-fire (ritualist/incantation beats) drum fills and beats -topped with raw and demonic/unholy vocals -at times (sounds like) devouring the microphone and with this sense of death within the vocal work!.

The production value of the EP is raw, which sounds like it was recorded in the depths of the underworld, with a musical spectrum that’s wrapped in this psychopomp/trepidation atmosphere that’s raw and with a message of death feel… -and it’s this feeling that truly captures the feel of the music.

Brief – but terrifying at the same time, (again) short, a lot is going on within their dark void of existence.

I wanted to share our thoughts and MEMORABILIA on the FIFTH SIN. While enjoying the dark and possessed sound and music. This forbidden fruit art psychopomp/trepidation atmosphere is truly raw and dark.

Let’s discuss the ARTWORK of the SIXTH SIN. If this is what I think it is? A dead crow? Symbolically, crows have commonly been a symbol of death and the transformational process from the physical to the spiritual world. This fits the music, the feel of the music, and the lyrics

Finally, the review will close with the last sin, the SEVENTH SIN, the DISRELISH. With nothing to disrelish within the musical world of CHARON KRUK. This concludes the Charon Kruk – Trepidation Review.
