The Fourth Sin: Overall Discussion: Seamlessly blending elements of metalcore and synthcore sounds.

From the moment the play button is pressed, Lights Out by Droidglow captivates with its unique blend of electro, electrifying guitar, clean and vibrated female vocals, and an atmospheric soundscape. This distinctive opening sets the stage for a musical journey unlike any other.

As the listener delves deeper into the single’s musical spectrum, they are treated to a unique experience. Droidglow has curated a musical journey by collaborating with two artists, each bringing their unique flavour to the table while maintaining his signature fresh and distinct sound.

Let’s talk about our first guest member, Sarah Orloff. Providing the vocal melodies for Lights Out (also named the song) brings a unique combination of melody and slight aggression to the song, leaving a lasting impression. And to top it all off, the second guest, Angel Rising, provided the guitar work.

Angel Rising‘s unique style and skill add a new dimension to the song, with his guitar playing ranging from brutal to technical and sometimes even sorrowful. His guitar technique perfectly captures the essence of the music.

As you continue to listen to Lights Out, you’ll be enveloped in a meticulously executed production. The sound and atmosphere are not just clean, but crisp and well-polished, a true testament to the skill of the Argentine sound engineer Dam Nicolosi, who expertly handled the mixing and mastering.

The official video clip for Lights Out was created by the renowned American director Vicente Cordero (Industrialisms Films). He is known and awarded for producing and directing music videos for various notable bands, including Cradle of Filth, Suicide Silence, Mr. Big, In Flames, and Avenged Sevenfold. His expertise and creativity are evident in the Lights Out video, adding another layer of artistry to the overall experience.

If you appreciate the unique blend of heavy metalcore sounds with the electronic elements of synthcore, this song is a must-listen.

The Last Three Sins

The Fifth Sin, The Memorabilia: Droidglow has released another fruit of art song, which I can happily add to my Droidglow collection. But having two musicians (Droidglow and Angel Rising) with whom we have reviewed before and enjoyed their work, to have them both in one song is a dream.

I want to mention Sarah’s vocals and vocal melodies on the single. But also recorded the song in her home studio. Who also brought the music alive with her fruit of art singing and lyrical work, and of course, Angel Rising, again, of the fruit of art guitar devilmanship.

Lights Out is a departure from Droidglow‘s previous singles, showcasing the exciting evolution of his musical style. Now, he’s delving into more vocal melodies and aggressive guitar work, while seamlessly blending elements of metalcore and synthcore sounds.

The Sixth Sin, The Artwork:

The artwork transports you to the music and captures this electric vibe.
