The First Three Sins of Passion and Pain
Let’s start by discussing the first three sins of Nothing New In Heaven and their album, Of Passion and Pain.
The First Sin, The Strings/Keys: Features inspired catchy melodic riffage filled with complex/technical and total energy and pulsing bass lines. The Second Sin, The Vocals: Involves low-deathly growls with a sprinkle of a black metal vibe. The Third Sin—The Percussions: Delves into the vast world of full-throttle rhythmic aural battering strikes of the drums.
The Fourth Sin: Overall Discussion: Musique séduisante Children Of Bodom songs and music…
Immediately, as the listener presses that play button, one is welcome to the opening piece, Gave Everything Received Nothing, which welcomes the listener’s ears with a spoken audio clip. Following suit with a warm instrumental score -yet progressive and low-death growls -which continues throughout the remaining piece.
One continues their journey with the second piece, Sons Of Deadwood, and the remaining three tracks. These tracks deliver this mixture of musical artistry of acts, such as -early Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, -early At The Gates, and especially the Soul Blackened (melody) heavy atmosphere essence of Children Of Bodomm. This is all woven together to create this atmosphere/musical spectrum fruit of art.
With a sound and production drenched with perfection, five well-arranged, complex, equally solid, strongly composed songs. At the same time, the music is well arranged and composed, creating this incredible, well-thought-out release —a release with everything to offer, an offering of being heavy/melodic and dynamic, fresh, epic, powerful, and wonderfully darkly complex, fun, brutal, and technical.
At the same time, Nothing New Heaven is provided and delivered by extraordinary devilmanship. Utilizing (will allure the listener in) various moments and expressions such as tones, tempos, moods, and sound FX sections consisting of guitar work with inspired catchy melodic riffage that’s filled with complex/technical and energy, pulsing bass lines.
Drum work complete of throttle rhythmic aural battering strikes of the drums. Moving to the vocals, which consist of low-deathly growls with a sprinkle of black metal vibe and (at times) soaring duet.
Within the instrumentation are additional beautiful piano, death n roll/groovy, and some synth sections, all mixed in with the mixture of musical artistry of the acts mentioned above.
A release and band -not to be missed.
The album comes to an end with the last song, Make Your Own Martyr. We want to give a shoutout to Nothing New Heaven for letting us review their album, Of Passion and Pain. Now, we’re going to wrap it up by talking about the final three sins and concluding the review.
