Ofiuco – Deseos de aniquilación Review opens and discusses the FIRST SIN: THE STRINGS/KEYS. Consists dual onslaught of destruction and raw-to-bone fast shredding of guitars with some technical/rhythmic fret-board stylish riffing/short solos, bare-bone bass licks

Let’s talk about the SECOND SIN: THE VOCALS, which involves raw-to-bone harsh vocals

Moving on to the THIRD SIN: THE PERCUSSIONS, which delves into the vast world of progressive fast-past (pounding) drumming and energetic beats

In our following discussion about the band’s musical work, we will focus on the FOURTH SIN, the overall DISCUSSION of the album. Immediately the listener drops that cassette tape into the sound system and hits the play button, one is welcomed to the opening track CERO HUMANOS which welcomes the listener with a dense soundscape of the riffs, following close behind is an energetic burst of fast riffs and hellish drumming, before going hell-bent on Avent-Garde/technically on the axe and welcome of raw vocals.

Following suit with the following first three songs, LA MUERTE ES VENGANZA, DESEOS DE ANIQUILACIÓN, and UNIVERSO DESPIADADO. Each piece has created a hell-bent chaos soundscape that provided an unpolished sound and could have been all recorded in the basement of an abanding house.

OFIUCO delivers a dragging your soul back to those thrash metal revisited days, topped with destruction, carnage, and raw attitude – which provides the listener with a nonstop pure energetic/full throttle thrash metal, technically fret-board skin shredding of the dual guitars, fast-hellish drumming, fast-heavy speed-driven unpolished underground sound, excellent old-school sound in production, solid devilmanship.

Slowing things down with track five, TRÉMOLO DEL ÚLTIMO DÍA, is a short acoustic (hint of an Italian/Spanish vibe within the pickings) instrumental track that opens with the sound of a cold wind wrapped around burning destruction while embracing this morbid feeling with the strings (captures the theme/feel of the album)

Following the last two songs, ABRUMADORA REALIDAD and DESOLACIÓN TOTAL, provide the listener one round of what the listener received with the first four songs – a demolition of pure energetic/full-throttle extreme music.

Simultaneously, the album has created a raw sound of old-school thrash metal of bands such as UK and Brazilian extreme metal acts such as VENOM, SARCÓFAGO, VULCANO, and the blackened thrash vibe of Japanese band SABBAT and some tint of old school death and thrash metal thrown in the mix.

OFIUCO vocals and the lyrics are all in the band’s native tongue (Spanish), where the lyrical theme covers themes about the destruction of the human being, antichristian and some personal experiences.

I wanted to share our thoughts and MEMORABILIA on the FIFTH SIN. The whole raw/unpolished underground sound that volcanoes out your speakers

Let’s discuss the ARTWORK of the SIXTH SIN. Old-school and old-school!

Finally, the review will close with the last sin, the SEVENTH SIN, the DISRELISH. Since there is nothing to disrelish within the musical world of OFIUCO. This concludes the Ofiuco – Deseos de aniquilación Review.
