Smoke Of Isengard – Orc Metal Review opens and discusses the FIRST SIN: THE STRINGS/KEYS, which comprise complex/technical proficiency in depressive guitar riffs and heavy bass riffs

Let’s talk about the SECOND SIN: THE VOCALS, which involves Orc-like death growls.

Moving on to the THIRD SIN: THE PERCUSSIONS, which delves into the vast world of slow, brutal battering drum strikes and beats.

In our following discussion about the band’s musical work, we will focus on the FOURTH SIN, the overall DISCUSSION of the album. When the listener presses that play button, one is welcome to the opening piece, SMAUG… THE DRAGON, which welcomes the listener with a slow and heavy instrumental opening of crushing stoner doom guitar passages and drum strikes – following suit with Orc-death growls…

As one continues their journey of “there and back,” the listener continues their musical adventure of the second track, DWARF HUNTER, and the last eight tracks, where SMOKE OF ISENGARD is provided and delivered by one person, VERALDEN OLMAI, of the Russian Depressive black metal act INTERNAL GOD, where his role is the lead vox and guitars.

SMOKE OF ISENGARD takes his music and lyrical theme to a new level, where one will find that “Orc Metal” music style is hard to describe (and a first of its kind?)—

SMOKE OF ISENGARD  borrows some traits of INTERNAL GOD depressive riffage and atmosphere and (simultaneously) combines the slow and heavy crushing sound of stoner-doom acts ELECTRIC WIZARD and SLEEP and death n’ roll elements of DEBAUCHERY and ENTOMBED.

SMOKE OF ISENGARD  instrumentation consists of complex/technical proficiency of depressive (feed-back/fuzz-stoner) chuggy riffs with a flow of death/groove n’ roll riffage, heavy bass riffs, slow-brutal battering drum strikes and beats. OLMAI delivers these Orc-like death growls with spoken audio clips -creating and giving the listener’s ears an extreme delight of this perfect and excellent balance between aggression, brutal n’ roll, and groove.

SMOKE OF ISENGARD is a perfect campfire delight of banging one’s head and drinking Orc-mead while a freshly caught hobbit is sizzling on a spit-roast, while the music blasts out the lyrical themes on Orcs of Lord of Rings/Middle Earth” – making a somewhat of a lyrical concept about an Orc’s life, that’s inked journal bound in dwarf skin – of one war and brutish life of an Orc, under the command of Mordor/ Wizard Saruman and watchful eye of Sauron

I wanted to share our thoughts and MEMORABILIA on the FIFTH SIN. SMOKE OF ISENGARD  is provided and delivered by incredible devilmanship, showcasing an exhibition of perfection both in production and sound, with a  well-executed arrangement and composing of music, lyrics, instrumental and vocals

Let’s discuss the ARTWORK of the SIXTH SIN. The artwork gives the listener a good artwork that matches the music and songs.

Finally, the review will close with the last sin, the SEVENTH SIN, the DISRELISH. Since there is nothing to disrelish within the musical world of SREFA. This concludes the Smoke Of Isengard – Orc Metal Review.
