The First Three Sins of the Fall of Man

Let’s start by discussing the first three sins of Speedemon and their album, Fall of Man

The First Sin, The Strings/Keys: Features a twin guitar assault of fast, aggressive riffs and soaring melodic solos, while the bass, provides a solid and driving foundation for the band’s high-energy sound. The Second Sin, The Vocals: Delivering raw, powerful screams and energetic shouts that match the band’s aggressive style, adding an extra layer of intensity to their music. The Third Sin—The Percussions: Delves into a vast world of powerful, relentless drumming that propels the band’s music forward. Creating the intense, fast-paced atmosphere that defines Speedemon’s sound.

The Fourth Sin: Overall Discussion:

Obeys the laws of Heavy Metal and NWOBHM, while proclaiming the dawn of a new era: the era of the Machine Dictatorship, the “Fall Of Man.”

The moment the listener hits that play button, they are welcomed by the epic sounds of March of the Triumphants, a powerful and sweeping instrumental introduction that sets the stage. This is quickly followed by the electrifying second piece, Metal Rage and the remaining seven tracks, with Speedemon leading the listener on an exhilarating journey, akin to diving into a captivating novel or an adventurous board game.

The hordes of Speedemon arrived with their first full-length album, “Hellcome.” Conceptually, “Hellcome” presented a wave of devastation, terror, and subjugation that heralded the apocalyptic end of humanity. From the ashes, they forged a new order; more ruthless, more dominant.  In this second full-length album, Speedomen proclaims the dawn of a new era: the era of the Machine Dictatorship, the “Fall Of Man.” Conceptually, “Fall Of Man” reflects on the path humanity has taken, a road marked by intolerance, obsession, and the tyranny of the strong, culminating in the rise of machines now endowed with human-like intelligence. [Speedemon]

When Speedomen erupts from your speakers for the first time, it envelops the listener in a sonic experience that balances a raw, gritty edge with a pristine, polished finish. Unleashes a sonic barrage that ignites the listener’s inner metalhead, delivering an explosive collection of anthems that compel you to thrash your head in pure exhilaration.

Speedemon is a musical fruit of art, that transcends the boundaries of heavy metal, skilful intertwines the relentless energy of speed metal with the raw aggression of thrash. Drawing inspiration from the fierce sounds of Teutonic and U.S. West Coast thrash, the band also weaves in elements of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and Traditional Heavy Metal. This creates a rich tapestry of sound that forms the very essence of their identity.

With each track, Speedomen keeps the spirit of traditional/heavy metal alive and pulsating, inviting their listener to revel in a genre that celebrates power and intensity. The band’s ability to blend these diverse influences not only showcases their musical prowess but also pays homage to the roots of heavy metal itself. As the riffs and vocals soar and the drums thunder, resembling the Valkyrie amidst the sky, the listeners are transported into a world where the adrenaline rush of metal reigns supreme. This makes every moment a celebration of the genre’s enduring legacy.

Speedemon transcends mere music; it embodies a powerful embrace of the enduring spirit of traditional heavy metal, igniting a fire within the hearts of their listeners. Their latest album, Fall of Man, serves as a lavish feast for the ears and soul, meticulously crafted to captivate listeners. The intricate structure of both the musical and instrumental elements showcases a remarkable devilmanship and artistry, seamlessly woven together to create a cohesive and exhilarating experience.

Speedemon provides blistering guitar riffs that propel the sound forward, the relentless drumming lays down a robust rhythmic backbone. While the fierce and commanding vocals amplify the intensity of their sound, at the same time, the vocals soar above the instrumentation, slicing through the lyrics with an effortless grace, reminiscent of a warm knife gliding through soft butter. Yet, amidst this aggressive onslaught, Speedomen seamlessly weaves in melodic nuances and sharp choruses, enriching their compositions with layers of depth and complexity. This dynamic interplay between ferocity and melody defines their style and ensures that each track resonates with a profound emotional impact, making Fall of Man a standout testament to the vitality of heavy metal.

As the listener approaches the sixth track, titled The Betrayed, the listener is presented with an acoustic instrumental interlude. This is followed by the concluding three pieces, which deliver an intense and aggressive auditory experience, characterized by powerful metal anthems that resonate deeply within both the mind and spirit.

In essence, both the band, Speedemon and their album Fall of Man are a fruit of art, bursting with energy, intensity, and an exhilarating pace that feels like a wild ride. The Fall of Man compels you to leap onto your bed, crank up the volume to the max. Either thrash your head in a frenzy or unleash your inner rock star with some epic air-guitar moves to its electrifying melodic solos. The choice is entirely yours, but one thing is certain: “Speedemon” is an experience you simply cannot overlook!

The album concludes with the final track, Midnight Ripper, as the last whispers of the music, echoes through the haze of one’s ears. We want to give a shoutout to Speedemon for letting us review their album Fall of Man. Now, we are going to conclude the review by talking about the final three sins and concluding the review.

The Last Three Sins

Let’s discuss the last three sins of Speedemon and their album, Fall of Man

The Fifth Sin, The Memorabilia:

For myself, Speedemon has this dynamic interplay between the powerful vocals and the instrumental arrangements, that creates this captivating auditory journey, inviting the listener to immerse themselves fully in the music’s rich textures and emotional depth. The experience I had with “Speedemon” reveals that the impact of the piece largely hinges on the listener’s perspective. I observed that the instrumental arrangement functions as a dynamic and vivid backdrop, providing a fresh auditory experience characterized by both energy and clarity. This foundation effectively supports the musical and lyrical themes, while the vocals contribute an additional layer of grandeur and depth to the overall composition.

End of the day, each note, vocal-chord, beat, chord is skilful crafted, essentially: the devilmanship, composition, arrangements, sound, and production, etc. are all a fruit of art, creating an atmosphere that is both exhilarating and exquisite.

The Sixth Sin, The Artwork:

The artwork (designed by Speedemon and Mafalda Homem Araújo) epic and effectively embodies the lyrical essence of the band’s music. Additionally, it resembles a comic book drawing, which enhances its heavy metal and epic aesthetic.

The Seventh Sin, Disrelish:

Nothing to disrelish within the musical spectrum of Speedemon and their album, Fall of Man. Therefore, this concludes Speedemon and their album, Fall of Man review.
