The First Three Sins of Throne Of Grief
Let’s start by discussing the first three sins of Tumanduumband and their album, Throne Of Grief
The First Sin, The Strings/Keys: Omits the guitar and employs only the bass guitar, which consists of slow-heavy, doom-driven lo-fi, fuzzy-white noise. The Second Sin, The Vocals: Involves in omitted the vocals, and replaced with an unsettling and soul-crushing instrumental atmosphere. The Third Sin—The Percussions: This delves into the vast world of slow-pounding drum patterns and beats that are dense and pure evil.
The Fourth Sin: Overall Discussion:
Not for the faint of heart… music that will grab hold of you and refuse to let go
Immediately after the listener presses that play button, the listener is greeted with an audio clip, instrumental feedback, and hypnotic riffs of the opening track, Crushed Beneath Unfathomable Misery.
As the listener progresses through the second piece, Throne Of Grief and the remaining six pieces, they are confronted with an unsettling, dark, sick, and unholy work of art and devilmanship. This album does not offer a guiding hand and is initially difficult to listen to. In this abyssal void, one is left alone with one’s thoughts.
Their unique approach to creating their sound sets Tumanduumband apart from other doom-metal acts. While most bands rely on a full instrumental setup, Tumanduumband crafts their heavy-doom sledgehammer music using only the bass guitar and drums. The result is a haunting and ritualistic sound that resembles a conjuring of evil forces.
The bass riffs are heavy, dirty, and soul-crushing, reminiscent of the likes of Conan and Sunn O))). At the same time, the music is composed by a duo dressed in dark robes, with just a (mentioned before) bass and drum to create their devilish sound. The bass is imposing, providing a fuzzy feedback distortion that sounds apocalyptic and hypnotic. The riffs are heavy and unholy, full of blood and crushing drum beats and fills that will leave you breathless; this is just one part of the experience. The space is also filled with additional sound effects, enchanting vocals, and screeching from the riffs. It’s as if you’re transported to another world where the most unholy and terrifying things exist.
Throne Of Grief is a musical journey not for the faint of heart. It’s a dark, intense, and immersive experience that will grab hold of you and refuse to let go. The music is heavy and oppressive, with a palpable dread hanging throughout the air.
If you like this music, Throne Of Grief is worth checking out. It’s a genuine devilmanship of the forbidden fruit of dark and ritualistic art, a ritual soundtrack that demands your attention and leaves an indelible mark on your soul.
The album comes to an end with the last song, Colder than Death. We want to give a shoutout to Tumanduumband for letting us review their Throne Of Grief album. Now, we’re going to wrap it up by talking about the final three sins and concluding the review.
The Last Three Sins
Let’s discuss the last three sins of Tumanduumband and their album, Throne Of Grief
The Fifth Sin, The Memorabilia:
For me, Throne Of Grief is an album that goes beyond just providing music for the listener; it’s an entire experience of Satan, horror, doom, and ritual combined to create a forty-five-minute journey of torment and soul-tearing music for your enjoyment of suffering (again) and leaving an indelible mark on your soul.
Throne Of Grief is equal to as good as their debut EP, Cursed with Blackened Tongues. A release as if continuing their darkened journey of putting the dark and black in black country doom!
The Sixth Sin, The Artwork:
It is uncomplicated, complements the ritualistic atmosphere, and suits the music well.
The Seventh Sin, Disrelish:
Nothing to disrelish within the musical spectrum of Tumanduumband and their album, Throne Of Grief. Therefore, this concludes Tumanduumband and their album, Throne Of Grief review.
